Climate change 'driving UK's extreme weather'

Environmental change driven by modern culture is increasingly affecting the UK's climate, the Met Office says.

Its yearly UK report affirms that 2019 was the twelfth hottest year in an arrangement from 1884.

In spite of the fact that it doesn't make the best 10, the report says 2019 was amazing for high temperature records in the UK.

There was likewise a serious swing in climate from the dousing winter to the bright spring.

The temperature boundaries were:

Another UK greatest record (38.7° C) on 25 July, in Cambridge

Another winter greatest record (21.2° C) on 26 February, in Kew Gardens, London - the first run through 20C has been reached in the UK in winter

Another December most extreme record (18.7° C) on 28 December, in Achfary, Sutherland

Another February least record (13.9° C) on 23 February, in Achnagart, Highland

No national low temperature records were set in the State of the UK Climate report, distributed by the Royal Meteorological Society.
