Dame Barbara Windsor moves to care home as Alzheimer's worsens




Lady Barbara Windsor has moved to a consideration home in London because of her propelling dementia. 

Her significant other Scott Mitchell revealed to The Sun the previous EastEnders star has been there since mid-July. 

He stated: "I feel I'm on a passionate rollercoaster. I stroll around, attempting to keep occupied, at that point burst in to tears. It feels like a deprivation." 

Lady Barbara, 82, was determined to have Alzheimer's in 2014 and her condition has intensified during lockdown.

Scott included: "It's constantly been my greatest dread, that one day I would need to take her some place and she'd figure, 'For what reason would he do this to me?' 

"That dread has become a reality. It's something I never needed."

Talking about the day he left Dame Barbara at the home, Mitchell stated: "I'll always remember the sentiment of void. I felt debilitated in the pit of my stomach that I'd left her. I despite everything feel like that. 

"When I returned home and hit the hay, I just felt frantically miserable. It's been a long time since we met and we invested such a large amount of that energy in one another's organization. It feels like another section has gone." 

The couple have been hitched for a long time. 

Scott said he had attempted to make her room look plain with family and showbiz pictures, including one of the on-screen character getting her damehood from the Queen.
