Lee recently confessed to the charge after opiates officials found a gun, a pistol and medications remembering cannabis and Xanax for the D'Avanzo family's Staten Island, New York, home in December 2019. Examiners had prescribed 37 to 46 months in jail for Lee, however the adjudicator increased the time because of his long criminal history.

"He has six earlier feelings, including two earlier government feelings," Kovner stated, per the Daily News. "He disregarded directed delivery with a thievery offense, breaking into a bank and attempting to get into a vault with fast bores. … Two earlier sentences of roughly 60 months were not adequate to prevent the respondent from genuine wrongdoings."
After the meeting, one of Lee and Drita's little girls told the paper, "The sentence was out of line. It's bulls–t."
