Meghan Markle's favorite DL1961 denim brand launches sustainable and antiviral collection

Denim label DL1961 Loveashe wears a glamorous designer dress and heels, or a casual look of jeans and a white top. When she opts for the latter, one of her casual pairs is DL1961 premium denim.

Building on her love for Emma's ankle-length skinny jeans (which she wore on multiple occasions on trips to Luminary Bakery, South Africa and Vancouver Island), the former actress is sure to endorse their latest ultra-sustainable launch, Better By DL.

Rather than using an average of 1,500 gallons of water to make a pair of jeans, this capsule made it possible to make fashionable dark essentials in less than 5 gallons. (Think mid to high rise skinny ankle jeans, a pretty zip-up jumpsuit, a denim jacket, and more.)

“At DL1961, our goal is to challenge the traditional way of making denim to reduce our impact on future generations,” Creative Director Sarah Ahmed said in a press release.

“As a vertically integrated family-owned company, we can research and invest in technologies that are environmentally friendly and lead to better products,” she continued.

In addition to their thoughtful design process and water conservation techniques, they also used recycled and renewable fibers like Eco-Made Lycra and Botanical Tencel, conscious hardware and more sustainable practices to create denim staples.

And an added bonus? Better By DL products use HeiQ technology, an antimicrobial Swiss textile technology added to fabrics that protects against SARS-COV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) so you can look and feel good.

The line of capsules, in which Marina Testino is the face of the campaign, consists of women's and women's items at prices ranging from $ 55 to $ 279. Scroll to see our top picks! D Meghan Markle Launches Eco Friendly & Antiviral Collection
