Ariela Weinberg of 90-Day Fiancé and Biniyam Shibre Introduce Son Aviel 10 Months After Birth: Photo
Looking back! Almost a year after Ariela Weinberg gave birth to her first child, the star of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way exclusively presents her boy, Us Weekly.
“Our little Avi is doing great. He is the happiest child I have ever met, ”Weinberg tells us. “This year was the craziest year of my life, and the whole world will see it. To be honest, our story will get even crazier. There have been no boring moments since Avi was born. You will see how we orient ourselves as parents and how our relationship develops over time. ”
The New Jersey native, 28, and Biniyam Shibre greeted the toddler on December 17 ahead of due date after Weinberg experienced complications. The couple's experience is documented on the Sunday, October 18th edition of the TLC show.
The couple met and fell in love in 2019 when Weinberg embarked on a worldwide exploration trip in 2019, staying in Ethiopia for two months. When the freelance writer found out she was pregnant, she decided to move to Ethiopia so that 29-year-old Shibre could attend the birth of their child.
“I'm not ready at all,” Shibre said in his 90-Day Fiance: Another Way earlier this month before an emergency caesarean section. "Me and Ari are not ready at all."
Weinberg intervened: “Never in my life have I been so afraid. More than anything, I wish my mother was here. " (Her parents were supposed to fly out next week to visit their grandson.)
“I have major abdominal surgery in a very underdeveloped area,” she added. "I don't know what will happen next."
“Nobody really told me anything,” Weinberg told Us of her frightening experience. “Usually when no one tells you anything, it’s because everything is very terrible. What worried me the most was that the child was not moving, and I was afraid that he would die. We were both very nervous, so it was nice to know that Biniyam was with me. Thanks to him, I moved to Ethiopia. I knew that if anything happened, we would at least get through it together. And the fact that he was so nervous showed me that I was not alone. "
Now, looking back, the new mom says she does not regret her decision "at all" to have a baby in Ethiopia.
“Kadisko Hospital was great and I would highly recommend it to all expats or other people looking to give birth in Ethiopia. They saved Avi's life. I will always be grateful to them, ”she told Us. “It was worth it when I first saw dad and baby together. The only thing I regret is that my parents were unable to attend the birth. "
Previously, the reality TV star was married for 10 years to her first husband, Leandro. The former divorced in 2018. As for Shibre, the Ethiopian native shares a son named Simon with his ex-wife Bria.
