In February, Ulrich, who played F.P. Jones, announced that Season 4 would be his last. Season 4 ended in March, but had to be interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic. In September, the cast began filming new episodes, which will begin with three episodes that they missed in the fourth season.

“I am incredibly grateful for the friendship I made in Riverdale, and I will miss meeting everybody every day,” Ulrich said in a February statement. “I am proud to be part of such a talented group of people in front of and behind the camera.
